A Day at Robinette's

Yesterday, my family and I headed out to Robinette's, a local apple orchard that is super awesome. We went there a couple years ago, and it was nice to be back. We got there and got in line first thing for some of the best pumpkin donuts and apple cider in the area. The line was super long (duh!), but we finally got to munch on some deliciousness.

After stuffing our faces, we headed across the street to the orchard to pick some yummy apples. Last time we went, I think I just stuck with taking pictures, but I actually picked a few apples this time. It was fun! Nicholas tried lifting me up to reach the apples that were high in the tree, but it was scary to be lifted up into the tree, so it didn't really work... haha. Luckily, he was tall enough to reach them on his own. :)

This was also my niece and nephew's first time to the orchard with us, so that was really neat being able to share it with them. Having them in my life is so awesome, and I honestly can't remember what it was like before they were here. They have truly made life happier. Cora "picked" her own apple, and after they cleaned it off, she tried eating it too. Eli also tried holding his own apple, but it didn't work out too well...

It was a perfect fall day with my family, and I can't wait to do it again next year! We've got some apples sitting here now just waiting to be turned into an apple pie! When we left, Nicholas and I headed to a couple stores so we could buy some new clothes for our engagement shoot on Wednesday! (and I mean, just for new clothes...) We got home, enjoyed some deliciously warm chili and hung out with the family the rest of the night.
