22 by 23 List



Tomorrow I'll be turning 22, and I've decided to start doing this list idea each year. I got the idea from one of my favorite bloggers, Amanda of Wit & Whistle (also the first blog I ever looked at!). She has been doing these lists for a few years now (you can check out her lists here), and I've finally decided to try it out myself. Lately I've been feeling like I have just been going through the motions and not really living my life. I think this list is going to be a huge help in living my life more intentionally. I want to stop letting life happen to me, and start making life happen for me. Without further ado, here is my list!

1. Backpack North Manitou Island with Nicholas again this summer. (It's been 2 years!)
2. Kayak at least once.
3. Offer greeting cards in the shop.
4. Camp in Mackinaw City with Nicholas, my sister Laurie, and brother-in-law Nate.
5. Backpack in Manistee National Forest.
6. Hike more at Aman Park.
7. Go to a drive-in movie.
8. Take more photos with my camera.
9. Try 5 new recipes from Pinterest.
10. Introduce 5 new prints to the shop.
11. Day trip in Michigan with Nicholas.
12. Bike ride from Rockford to Cedar Springs.
13. Chicago trip with friend(s).
14. Designate one internet/tv-free day per month.
15. Try 10 new restaurants.
16. Make 3 DIY projects from Pinterest.
17. Eat healthier, live healthier, think healthier, be healthier.
18. Picnic somewhere I've never been.
19. Read 3 books.
20. Take new product photos. Check them out here!
21. Swim in Lake Michigan and at home a lot.
22. Figure out personal style + purge rest of clothes in my closet.

I know a lot of these are more like "summer bucket list" type things because I'd only do them in warm weather, but I still wanted to include them because they are things I definitely want to do this year. A lot of them are outdoorsy things too, which I'm excited about, because I love nature, but I feel like I don't go outside often enough. I'm excited to tackle this list, + I really think I'll be able to do it no problem! Thanks to Amanda for introducing me to these lists + inspiring me to do them as well, and for some of the ideas above. ;) What do you think of this idea?
