The Apache Trail
On the Wednesday that my family was visiting, I packed up my small suitcase and headed on a three day exploration of Arizona with my family. Our first stop (or drive, really) was to/on The Apache Trail. It used to be an old stagecoach trail that wraps through the Superstition Mountains. It's a scenic drive with a lot of stop-offs so you can get out and enjoy the scenery and take some beautiful photographs. I rode with my mom and Aunt Patty and Marie and Mark drove separately, and we all spent pretty much the whole day driving through and looking at the awesome landscapes.
After we left, we headed to their timeshare hotel in Peoria, and it was really nice! I wished that Nicholas and I could've just lived there for the rest of the time we're here. It was awesome. But alas, we cannot. We ordered some pizza and hung out and watched a movie when we got back. The following morning, we packed up and left the timeshare and headed on our way to the Grand Canyon! I'll have pictures from that mini vacation in a few days! Hope you enjoy these pictures for the time being! Arizona can be really cool, sometimes. ;)

ReplyDeleteThank you so much! I love all the cacti too! Such pretty colors and so different from my home state, Michigan! You should definitely check out the Apache Trail! It was seriously so beautiful and such a nice drive. Really relaxing.
DeleteAs far as the Grand Canyon goes, that is something you'll definitely want to visit too! It was my second time going (I had gone two weeks prior with my fiancé, haha), and I'm going back in 3 weeks when my sister & brother-in-law visit... and I can't wait! So breathtaking and so much to appreciate and explore. I could spend all day there.
