So, today I'm going to skip my hand-lettering post (sorry guys) and instead I'm going to start my posts of the adventures I had with my family while they were here! They have been back home for almost a week now. It's crazy! Seems like they were just here and like they never came. Wish they could be back, but thankfully we got to do a lot of exploring together! When they first arrived on the 19th (Sunday) they stopped by our apartment, then we just all went out to dinner. It was so weird seeing people I knew, especially my family, in this new place that I'm temporarily living in. It was awesome though! The next day, they picked me up (Nicholas was at school unfortunately) and we all went to the Sea Life Arizona Aquarium. I had a really great time with my family that day, and I can't wait to show you pictures from the rest of our travels together. Have a good weekend!
This is my new turtle friend. He was so awesome, I just wanted to swim with him!
Me standing under this cool bubble thing so you could be "inside" the tank too! The next two pictures are my view from inside the bubble. It was so neat! And my mom stood in it too! They were definitely meant for kids because you had to crawl on the floor through a little tunnel thing to get to them, and we couldn't stand tall in them, but it was worth it! Kudos to us. ;)
My mom, my sister Marie, and me inside some jaws! My brother-in-law, Mark, was taking this picture and my Aunt Patty was off somewhere taking some pictures of fish!
These are terrific. That tube thing is really neat! :) LOVE YOU.
ReplyDeleteHEY, thanks! They were so awesome. :) Love you too!
DeleteI LOVE AQUARIUMS. this looks like a fun one! you would love the one at the Dallas World Aquarium too - it has a walk through shark tunnel. Monterey Bay Aquarium is still my fave. :)
ReplyDeleteI love them too! So much fun. I was first introduced to the tunnel idea at the Detroit Zoo in their polar bear exhibit which was awesome, and again at the Aquarium of the Bay in San Francisco. Absolutely loved both, so I'm sure I would love Dallas World too! :)
