I thought I'd share a little sneak peek of the birth announcement I'm working on for my nephew. He's already 5.5 weeks old, but we like to procrastinate in this family... anyway, I'm having fun working on it. My sister wanted me to keep with the woodland theme that his bedroom is inspired by, so I have leaves and acorns on it and I'll probably finish it with a somewhat autumn-y/woodland color palette. Looking forward to seeing it completed.
Tonight is my sister Laurie's housewarming party, so I'm still getting ready for that. I have a couple things to make/buy still, and I'm going to head over there early to help decorate and get everything set for when people start showing up around 4pm. I'm really excited, and still crossing my fingers that the weather stays nice today/tonight so we can have our outdoor movie later! So cross your fingers extra tight for us, please!
