Friday was Nicholas' 25th birthday. We had been thinking about going out for breakfast, but when we tried to find a really good breakfast place nearby, we fell short. So we decided on dinner, and our choice was between Dave & Buster's for some arcade game fun or Rainforest Cafe, that we had just discovered was only 13 minutes away! Alas, our choice fell on Rainforest Cafe. It was fun, though I definitely realize now at an older age that the place is more for the experience than the food. Though the food isn't terrible by any means, there just isn't anything special about it, nor is the price very budget-friendly. However, we had a good time and just enjoyed being in a fun atmosphere.
We got to sit by the elephants which was cool! They went bonkers whenever there was a "thunderstorm", which I remember experiencing as a kid. It was fun to get to witness it again!
Isn't the birthday boy handsome? I think so too.
