So I'm back in Arizona. This time for good. Or well, at least until August rolls around. Then I'll be home for (at least) 3 months, and then who knows--honestly right now, Nicholas and I both know that there is a high probability we'll have to move to another state once he's done with his internship if he (hopefully) scores a job. Which means uncertainty when it comes to when we'll be able to live in Michigan for good. It's scary to think about.
I always thought it'd be fun to move away to another state, but the more I grew up, and after meeting Nicholas, the more and more I realized the beauty Michigan holds. I love my home state, and I think it's incredibly amazing, so much so I sort of get annoyed when people complain about it. We're talking about living in a state with its own Great Lakes and a state that can easily be seen from space just because of its shape; how cool is that?! Alas, I know that it's just not for everyone, but it's definitely for us, so knowing that the likelihood of us living there forever right away is extremely low is kind of a bummer. But I'm gonna try to not think about it because that's living in the future and I'm still in Arizona, and I just need to live in the now!
...but for a moment we're going to take a step back into the past of a little over two weeks ago, on my plane ride back to Michigan. I only took a few pictures, but here they are!
Flying over Lake Michigan was pretty awesome, though at first I didn't realize that's what it was. I love riding in planes for the sake of looking out of them, but I definitely do get anxious, especially when I'm flying alone. I've done it three times now within the past two months, and if I had to do it again tomorrow, I'd get just as nervous. I much prefer flying with other people.
I took a few photos on my way back to Arizona too. I sat on the same side as I did the first time I flew down here, so I saw the same things, but the lighting was different, and when we came across these mountains again, I couldn't resist! I paused my movie (MIB III) and snapped a few shots before resuming. I hope you enjoy these incredible views as much as I did!
All photos taken by me.
