This week I started The Art of Modern Calligraphy -- a Skillshare class taught by the wonderful Molly Jacques. I am loving it! I've already learned so much, and it has only been a few days. I cannot wait to see how I progress and all that I learn throughout the course. The feedback I'm getting from peers is wonderful and very helpful, and it's so fun to take a cool class like this for such a small amount of money. Skillshare is awesome! Tomorrow we are going to be walking in the Out of the Darkness Community Walk here in Grand Rapids. I'll explain more about it later, but essentially it's a walk to raise awareness and money for suicide prevention and to help erase the stigma surrounding mental illness. It's a wonderful cause that is very dear to my heart as I lost my dad to suicide in December 2007. If you would like to donate, you may do so here. Any and all donations are seriously appreciated.
